  I reviewed REO Speedwagon’s Friday night headline at Moondance Jam for GRTR!, describing them as a ‘road tested, straight ahead rock band with a big sound perfect for festivals such as this’ and that I was ‘uplifted by the joy that they bring to their craft’.

  The album spent 32 weeks in the top 10 and peaked at #1. REO performed at Live Aid in The band took their name from the REO Speed Wagon, a truck made by the REO Motor Car Company. The initials REO stand for Ransom Eli Olds, who went on to form Oldsmobile. REO had 3 different singers on their first 3 albums.
